We have worked with the North Dakota Tourism Division for several years to develop a long-term strategy based on a brand umbrella that positions North Dakota as "Legendary." We developed relationships with numerous journalists and editors throughout the country, and provided story ideas and contact information that have resulted in North Dakota features on national television, in major newspapers, travel magazines, and in numerous publications serving niche markets. In 2006, our public relations strategy generated $2.5 million in ad equivalency on a dollar-for-dollar basis. In 2007, North Dakota tourism generated more than $7.2 million in positive media coverage.
