Odney’s Kramer Named Top 25 Woman in Business
BISMARCK, N.D. – Odney General Manager Brekka Kramer was named to Prairie Business magazine’s Top 25 Women in Business list for 2017. The announcement was made in the regional magazine’s March issue.

Kramer, who has been with Odney since 2001, is responsible for management and development of our company’s Minot office. She oversees day-to-day operations, manages projects and staff, develops strategic plans, provides direction to creative, administrative and account staff, and provides strategic direction and guidance on formulating and implementing the most effective strategies for each client and its target audience. She has led every public information contract for the Minot region since 2002, which has included working for the North Dakota Department of Transportation, City of Minot and through numerous engineering firms for communications on construction projects, design of major community projects, flood communications and more.

Outside of her role with Odney, Kramer is a member of the U.S. Air Force Global Strike Command (AFGSC) Civic Leaders Group, the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis Great Plains Advisory Council, Greater North Dakota Chamber board of directors, JDRF Advocacy Team, and several other local civic groups including Minot Area Development Corporation, Sunrise Rotary Club of Minot, Minot Public Schools Foundation and committees to support the Minot Air Force Base. She also has chaired both the Minot Area Community Foundation and Minot Area Chamber of Commerce boards.

“It has been a pleasure to be involved in both the professional and volunteer roles I’ve had over the course of my career, and earning this designation for my work is humbling,” said Kramer. “I have been fueled by my passion for my community and family, and am honored to have worked with such great people along the way. So many women have made a significant difference in business and I couldn’t be prouder to be considered among with them.”

“This is a well-deserved honor for Brekka, who has played an integral role with our company and throughout western North Dakota,” said Pat Finken, Odney president. “Her efforts have helped grow our company over the past 15 years while demonstrating our commitment to service as well as self. We are proud she is on our team and look forward to all she will accomplish in the future.”
