Odney, a full-service communications agency, welcomes the addition of two media professionals to the Bismarck office. Lauren Bjork joined the team as an Account Assistant on March 12, and Alison Ritter began as a Senior Public Relations Specialist on April 2.
“At Odney, we take pride in having top-notch staff, who are committed to bringing the best results to the clients we serve,” Pat Finken, president of Odney, said. “Lauren and Alison provide a tremendous asset to this agency and add to our already talented team.”
Bjork most recently worked as the Digital Managing Editor for a local radio group in Bismarck. Prior to that, she served as the Community Relations Administrative Assistant for Bismarck Public Schools. She grew up in Bismarck and has a degree in Public Relations and Journalism at North Dakota State University. At Odney, Bjork will help oversee ad development, media buys, and other communications strategies as she manages client projects.
Ritter joins the Odney team having previously served the state of North Dakota as the public information officer for the Oil and Gas Division. Ritter oversaw media relations during a period of tremendous growth for the industry and the agency that regulates it. She comes from a strong background in television, working in commercial production, news and sports. Alison’s role as a Senior Public Relations Specialist will have her advising clients on communications tactics and leading strategies to build relationships with the community. Originally from Iowa, Ritter now calls Bismarck home with her husband and their two boys.
Founded in 1985, Odney is a full-service agency offering marketing, advertising, public relations and government relations services, creative design, research, interactive services, media placement, social media and digital strategy services. The agency has offices in Bismarck and Minot, North Dakota.
