Account Assistant

Odney is seeking a advertising and marketing professional to assist the senior account management team in the development and execution of highly effective marketing, public relations and advertising strategies. This person will work with a team of research, creative, digital, media, social media and public relations experts in a results-driven environment. The position will be based in our Bismarck office and offers an excellent salary and benefits package.
 
Job Description:
  • Become familiar with products and markets in which assigned clients operate.
  • Gather input and information from clients and assist in execution of advertising and marketing projects.
  • Develop creative blueprints to guide development of the assigned tasks.
  • Participate in planning and strategy development with members of affected departments.
  • Assist in preparing and presenting marketing/communication plans and creative to clients.
  • Serve as conduit between team members and the client.
  • Handle day-to-day activities for assigned clients.
  • Work closely with the account executive to oversee execution of approved programs.
  • Identify new business opportunities from existing clients.
  • Represent the Agency at industry functions.
 
Qualifications:
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent proofreading skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Detail-oriented and ability to meet deadlines
  • Capable of multi-tasking, prioritizing and managing time efficiently
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Communications, advertising or public relations degree
