Situation

In 2010, Mid Dakota Clinic wanted a branded marketing campaign to promote their same-day walk-in clinic services.

Objective

Odney was hired to develop a strong brand for the clinic that would promote the added convenience of the walk-in clinic to existing and new patients, with the ultimate goal of increasing the number of patients served by Mid Dakota Clinic.

Strategy

We named the walk-in clinic the TODAY Clinic to emphasize the short wait times and immediate nature of the service offered by the clinic. We also added a “Doc Clock” to Mid Dakota Clinic’s website that showed the typical wait time for people to see a doctor at the TODAY Clinic.

We incorporated the existing Mid Dakota Clinic brand elements into the TODAY Clinic marketing materials so the audience recognized that the clinic is part of the respected Mid Dakota Clinic brand.

Tactics

We promoted the TODAY Clinic using a multi-channel media campaign that combined TV, radio, print, outdoor, out-of-home and social media marketing.

The marketing materials promoted the TODAY Clinic as the place to go “when you need to see a doctor today,” and emphasized that patients could see a doctor quickly by calling ahead or simply walking in.
